C4 F82 29 T700 Vgr Constant Carbon Black Fins. The 82 VGR is part of the new dedicated Apnea fin line from C4, the world leader in Carbon Fiber freediving fins. The 82 VGR has evolved from the world record setting Falcon 80 fins followed by the Mustang 80 fin model introduced a few years back (2008). The record setting 80 has a history starting with World Record holder Umberto Pelizzari in the early 90s and carries on the tradition as the most serious and high performance long blade carbon freediving fin endorsed by specialized athletes and trainers around the world for training and world record attempts. C4 Fuego 29 30 T700 Evo Carbon Black Fins. The 729 FUEGO fins represent a combination of innovation and tradition. They are modern in terms of energy transmission from the foot to the blade, but traditional due to the shape of the blade itself. The name consisting of 700, just like the new carbon T700 with large squares that it is made of, and 29, as in the degrees of inclination of the blades (25° the inclination of the previous ones), says a lot about these exclusive fins. An essential and advanced design characterizes the 729 FUEGO after years of studies and research applied to biomechanics. Maximum use of energy available, finds its very best application in the 729 FUEGO. The C4 anatomical footpoket, adjustable and preformed, transmit muscular strength to the blades of the 729 FUEGO in the most natural way possible, pushing through the optimum point, under the metatarsus. In scuba diving this provides a high level of naturalness and speed without any apparent effort. The energy saving of the 729 FUEGO does not depend exclusively on the elastic action of the carbon fibres, but it is based on the minimum request for energy that this system requires of scuba diving. The concave end piece of the 729 FUEGO’s provides the fins with immediate elastic reaction to the movement coupling. The 729 FUEGO’s favour rapid restarts and traditional fins, in accordance with the requirements of spear fishing. The 729 FUEGO blades extend to the heel of the foot, therefore resulting in excellent energy transmission. The blades of the 729 FUEGO made from 100% carbon Megaforce T700, a fiber that is 40% more resistant compared with a standard one, combines an excellent level of resistance with elasticity. More than twenty years of studies, international research and experience are transferred to the curve of the blades of the 729 FUEGO with second generation double parabolic curve D.P.C., achieved by means of an intelligent lamination of layers of carbon duly dimensioned and positioned. The D.P.C curve optimises curving of the blades and the quantity of water processed second by second in accordance with the EVO water rails and according to the availability of strength produced by the combination of our muscles with articulations. Energy savings have reached unique levels, all to the advantage of speed and therefore to our free diving and safety. The less tired we become, the safer we are: this is the condition of passive safety to be pursued at all times. The 729 FUEGO’s are equipped with shaped water rails, with progressive deformation EVO, patented by C4. The 729 FUEGO’s have blades that are specifically symmetrical, due to the highly superior mechanical and dynamic efficiency of this solution that is completely free of energy dispersion and due to greater mechanical breaking-torsion loading, typical of any possible asymmetries in shape. Less important loading also guarantees greater duration in the composite time. Asymmetry can be found when it expresses its function to the best, or in the preformed anatomical footpoket. The 729 FUEGO’s are made from 100% carbon Megaforce T700, a fibre that is 40% more resistant compared with a standard one. They create a high level of resistance and excellent elasticity. The new weave of the T700 Megaforce carbon with large squares, drastically reduces the number of intersections of the weaving that cause viscose friction in the fabric itself. As it is less stiff in weaving, the carbon thread of the 729 FUEGO can express its exceptional elastic characteristics and low energy absorption in the best possible way. The blades of the 729 FUEGO are connected to the shoes by means of a simple coupling that is blocked by two special screws that cannot be released, providing a guarantee to the mechanical seal and energy transmission. If necessary for transport, the 729 FUEGO’s, just like all of the C4 fins that adopt our preformed anatomical footpoket, are very easy to dismantle, therefore reducing the space that they occupy and also the primary cause for damage in airplane transportation. The measurements of the 729 FUEGO blades are 830 x 196 mm, the corner of the blades is 29° + 3° of performing of the anatomical shoe = 32° real inclination of the foot-blade. Legendary carbon-fiber fin model produced since 1998 contributing to the history of the sport of Freediving leaving a legacy littered with world records beginning with Umberto Pelizzari in 1992. The RED FALCON embodies a typical trait for new models comprising a sensible increase in performance compared to our previous version of Falcon VGR blades. What’s changed from the previous Falcon VGR version- •New RED FALCON decals starting with a more alluring aesthetic •Exclusive textile T700 carbon fiber using a “large pixel” format and new graphics. •The water rails are of a constant sectional height and proportion as they were with the former model, what’s changed is the width of 207mm (8”) and the longer length of 860mm (34”) •The rake between foot pocket and blade of a whopping 29 degrees from 25 in the previous version. •In the RED FALCON the lamination of the layers changes considerably thereby allowing the flex to produce our trademarked DPC (Double Parabolic Curve) which has previously been verified to result in great improvements in efficiency in the Mustang 3 and Fuego blade models. New model benefits These all new fins are made of 100% Megaforce T700 carbon with the new large square aggressive fabric texture. Thanks to DPC (Double Parabolic Curve) curvature and the 29° angle the performance is much higher than those of the previous Falcon and Flap VGR fins. The increase of the angle allows the diver to swim maintaining a more hydrodynamic "straight" shape with a lower profile and less resistance. Blade Dimensions: 87cm (34.25) x 20.5cm(8”). 3 Stiffness options: •25/Soft – This stiffness is suited for divers who weigh -175lbs, diving between 20-80’ with a mix of surface swimming and deeper diving/spearfishing. •30/Medium – This all around medium stiffness is intended for divers who weight 175-210lbs, engage in surface as well as a mix of shallow and deep diving to 30 meters (100’).•40/Hard. This stiffer blade is generally indicated for bigger divers weighing over 200lbs or with a strong preference for deep spearfishing to a depth of 40 meters (130’). The stiffness of the blade renders this blade stiffness choice well suited to overcoming added negativity at depth and rapid acceleration requiring more power and energy from the divers’ legs. The 40 stiffness are not recommended for beginners and lighter divers as they can contribute to ankle strain and reduced bottom times.SIZE: - 860 x 207 cm
