Oceanic Oc 1 W/o Transmitter

Oceanic Oc 1 W/o Transmitter. The choice is yours. The debate over a dive computers algorithm is over. It is no longer about whether an algorithm is right or wrong, liberal or conservative. It is simply about what is right for you at the current moment. You no longer have to choose a brand based on your decompression algorithm preference... Oceanics given you the choice depending on who youre diving with or the kind of diving that youre doing, with the first dive computer powered by our exclusive Dual Algorithm™ .The Oceanic OC1 is an advanced all-in-one dive computer featuring Oceanic’s exclusive Dual Algorithm, wireless air-integration, digital compass, remote Buddy Pressure Check, and so much more. All in a strong, lightweight titanium housing.Powered by Oceanics Exclusive Dual Algorithm™ - Your choice between Pelagic DSAT (Spencer/Powell data basis) or Pelagic Z+ (Buhlmann ZHL-16C data basis)- Wireless Air Integrated Technology - Forged Titanium Body with 660 ft / 200 m depth rating- Advanced Digital Compass with North, Reference, Auto Home, and Declination Adjustment (see NOAAs NGDC geomagnetic chart)- Switch between 3 independent transmitters, with up to 3 nitrox mixes to 100% O2 - Buddy Pressure Check™ allows you to remotely view your "Buddys" air pressure- Advanced watch functions including alternate time zone, stopwatch, lap timer, daily alarm, and countdown timer - Deep Stop with Countdown Timer- Gauge Mode with Run-Timer- User Upgradeable FirmwareChoose the one dive computer that’s liberal, conservative or middle-of-the-road. Oceanic’s new OC1 offers Dual Algorithm™ technology, letting you choose the decompression algorithm that best suits your diving needs without compromising safety.Choose Pelagic DSAT for:Liberal Recreational DivingThe Pelagic DSAT Algorithm safely maximizes dive time for repetitive, multi-level recreational diving. This algorithm relies on the human Doppler studies used to develop PADI’s Recreational Dive Planner (RDP), and has been the basis of Oceanics and other manufacturers computer algorithms for many years. To add additional conservatism, you can also adjust the:Tissue-Loading Bar Graph Alarm.Conservative Factor Setting. Choose Pelagic Z+ for:Conservative Recreational Diving When applied to standard recreational diving, the Pelagic Z+ Algorithm basis increases the conservative factor of the OC1 by 15-20%.Liberal Repetitive Deep and Decompression Diving:The Pelagic Z+ uses the Buhlmann ZHL-16C database, which was conducted to meet the more rigorous demands of repetitive, cold-water decompression diving at altitude. The Pelagic Z+ mode maximizes dive times at depth without penalties.Dive in sync with any buddy, anywhere.Because the OC1 allows you to adjust the algorithm basis and its conservatism, you can adjust to closely match just about any other dive computer on the market, allowing you and any buddy to always dive in sync. Diving the same profile increases safety for both divers, and eliminates the need for one person to conduct a much longer or deeper stop when buddying with someone wearing a more liberal dive computer. On repetitive dives, there is no more waiting for the more conservative dive computer to clear. Both buddies will be ready to enter the water at the same time and can continue to dive the same profiles. You can’t control which dive computer your buddy wears, but you can control your ability to dive the same profile.A note about deep stops:Both algorithms allow (user ON/OFF option) credit for deep stops for No-Decompression dives in keeping with the data of Morroni et al (2004) and Bennett et al (2007). No penalty is given if the diver skips the deep stop, but it is strongly recommended that a shallow safety stop be made with or without the deep stop in keeping with the experiments of Pilmanis (1975). It is important to note that neither algorithm provides deep stops for decompression dives since there is ample experimental data [Blatteau et al (2005), Gerth et al (2007), and Gutvik et al (2007)] that indicate that this practice often produces an increase in the risk of DCS. Oceanic Eos Fdx 10 Int Dvt

Oceanic Eos Fdx 10 Int Dvt. Every breath is a dream come true. For over 30 years, Oceanics R&D group has taken advantage of new materials, development of rapid prototyping, advanced computer aided design systems, objective testing, and lots of open water dives in an effort to develop a regulator with the lowest measurable inhalation effort in order to provide air to a diver at the extremes of human capacity.

When engineering brought the near complete EOS in for conformational testing the results were so astounding, the laboratory stopped testing and performed a complete calibration of all instruments, and in re-testing the EOS was found to have a near effortless inhalation resistive effort on test after test. Perfect.

Comprised of precision-machined components and extensive research and design, the EOS regulator has achieved an incredible feat-lifelike breathing. Oceanic-s gifted team of design engineers has included effortless breathing, inhalation effort adjustments, and comfortable second stage swivels and orthodontic mouthpieces into a regulator that you can hold in the palm of your hand. This is far more than just another regulator in the eyes of the Oceanic team, this is a dream come true.

- Pneumatically balanced second stage with virtually no breathing effort

- Diver adjustable inhalation effort

- Patented Dynamic Adjustment automatically maintains inhalation effort throughout the dive

- Ergonomic Adjustable Venturi Switch (A.V.S.) for simple Dive/Pre-Dive Adjustment

- Stainless steel inline swivel for reduced jaw fatigue and comfort

- Paired with the rugged FDX-10 Over-Balanced Diaphragm First Stage featuring DVT (Dry Valve Technology)

Pneumatically Balanced Valve.
The pneumatically balanced second stage reduces breathing resistance to near zero with a balanced valve seat designed to respond to the slightest inhalation.

A pneumatically balanced second stage actually has (or can have) the same initial crack opening effort as a mechanically balanced, but the spring force of a pneumatically balanced second stage is lighter so it-s spring rate is also lower. Therefore the force required to open the valve farther as flow increases is less than that required for a mechanically balanced second stage with a higher rate spring. So the total effort to breathe the pneumatically balanced second stage is indeed less.

The spring force must be just enough to overcome the difference between downstream air pressure and upstream balance chamber pressure.

The downstream air travels through a hole in the poppet into the balance chamber and applies an "upstream" force just slightly less than the downstream force.

Diver Adjustable Inhalation Effort.
Most downstream demand valve regulators are calibrated during manufacturing to a single, middle of the road operation. Whether finning up current at 100+ feet or merely snorkeling out to the dive site, this factory adjustment may not be optimum for the wide variety of demands we place on our equipment. A simple twist of the adjustment knob enables complete control... Set the inhalation requirement to near zero when you need ultimate performance, or tune it for greater resistance as conditions or preferences change.

Patented Dynamic Adjustment.
A common objection to adjustable second stages is that divers cant imagine themselves twisting and turning a knob as they descend and ascend through the depths. If inhalation resistance is set near zero at depth, your ascent would require you to manually increase resistance as ambient water pressure is reduced to prevent free-flow. Taking another stride beyond common second stage engineering, Oceanic designed a patented DYNAMIC ADJUSTMENT feature into the heart of the EOS. This mechanically balanced valve maintains your preferred breathing resistance throughout the dive. Set it once and the EOS automatically adjusts to make breathing as easy at 100 feet as it is at 30 feet - with no additional manual adjustment.

Ergonomic A.V.S. (Adjustable Venturi System) Dive/Pre-Dive Switch.
Designed to be unobtrusive, yet easily manipulated even with the thickest gloves, the A.V.S. deflector vane found in the EOS either diverts airflow from the valve to the mouthpiece, producing effortless venturi-assisted inhalation or creates enough resistance to prevent free flow on the surface.

Stainless Steel Inline Swivel.
Ever notice that nearly every picture you see of a diver, their regulator looks like it-s not the least bit comfortable- The EOS features an ergonomically designed stainless steel (no plating) in-line swivel for ultimate comfort.

Computer Optimized Design.
The EOS was designed using the latest 3-D computer modeling techniques. This allows us the ability to model and test performance while still in the early stages of development. The EOS-s unique valve, deflector vane and housing design directs airflow from the valve directly to the mouthpiece, producing nearly effortless venturi-assisted inhalation.

Patented Orthodontic Mouthpiece with High-Density Bite Tabs.
To further reduce jaw fatigue, the EOS features a patented Orthodontic Mouthpiece, designed to accommodate the natural overbite of the human jaw.

Nitrox Compatible.
The EOS FDX-10 is classified as being suitable for use with Nitrox breathing gas mixtures containing up to 40% oxygen by volume without the need for special preparation, cleaning or component parts.

FDX-10 Over-Balanced Diaphragm First Stage.
The Forged from marine-grade brass, the FDX-10 features optimized air paths and angled hose ports for superior performance and comfort. A sealed Balanced Diaphragm design, Enviro Kit and patented DVT (Dry Valve Technology) isolate all internal components from the environment. 2 high pressure and 4 low pressure ports allow convenient and comfortable hose routing.

The FDX-10 high performance over-balanced first stage provides progressively greater intermediate pressure as depth and gas density increases. The center -pads- that the diaphragms act against are different sizes so the working area of the outer environmental diaphragm is larger than the working area of the inner diaphragm. As depth increases, more pressure is applied to the larger surface area of the outer diaphragm than would be applied to the internal diaphragm. The result is superior gas delivery under the most extreme conditions.

DVT (Dry Valve Technology)
Ever wonder why they call it a "dust cap" and not a water cap- Most dust caps are not designed to keep water from entering your first stage. Regardless of how carefully you may maintain your regulator, water entry is a much more common problem than most divers realize.

DVT is a revolutionary regulator technology designed to automatically eliminate moisture and contaminants from entering your first stage, even if the dust cap is accidentally left off. DVT eliminates corrosion of critical internal components, bacteria, hose deterioration, and damaged gauges and computers.

Switch Between 3 Independent Wireless Transmitters
The ATOM 2.0 Wristwatch PDC is a sophisticated Personal Dive Computer featuring Oceanics wireless air integration technology. A transmitter threaded into the first stage high-pressure port continuously sends cylinder pressure data to the wristwatch. Frequencies are individually coded to allow multiple divers to swim side by side without interference with other units, as well as allow advanced divers to monitor up to 3 independent cylinders. Because the transmitter and display module are independent and separately powered units, the receiver may also be easily used as a stand alone, non-air integrated dive computer.

Buddy Pressure Check-
Transmitters may be programmed for "SELF" or "BUD" for Buddy - when programmed for "BUD" - the ATOM 2.0 will search for and display pressure for transmitters that are within range (4-6 feet).

Advanced Free Dive Mode
The ATOM 2.0 provides accurate depth and time with an amazing 1-second sampling rate for subsequent PC download and analysis. Dive Time is displayed in seconds and minutes. Custom audible alarms include Elapsed Dive Time, Countdown Timer and (3) Independent Max Depth Alarms. The ATOM 2.0 is the first Free Diving Computer to calculate and track Nitrogen Tissue Loading, allowing you to switch between SCUBA dives and Free Dives on the same dive day.

Advanced Wristwatch Functions
The ATOM 2.0 is an advanced digital wristwatch featuring a 1/100 second chronograph (stopwatch) with lap timer, 24 hour countdown timer, daily alarm, alternate time zone with date, 12/24 hour clock, and OceanGlo® Backlight.

Patented Air Time Remaining Algorithm
Youre at 80 feet with 1300 psi remaining in your cylinder - how long before you need to begin an ascent to a shallower depth- Our patented Air Time Remaining feature calculates your current depth, breathing rate, cylinder pressure, ascent time, and decompression status to tell you exactly how much time you can remain underwater.

Full-Time Air Time Remaining Display
The ATOM 2.0-s primary dive mode always displays approximate Air Time Remaining in 10 minute increments.

Dive Time Remaining
Dive Time Remaining, like Air Time Remaining provides a real number in minutes, considering Air Time Remaining, Nitrogen and Oxygen absorption, and automatically displays whichever allows less time.

Turn-Around Pressure Alarm
The Turn-Around Pressure Alarm is a unique patent-pending feature that allows you to pre-program an audible reminder when you reach 1000 to 3000 psi in 250 psi increments. This helps ensure that you return to your exit point with plenty of air.

Oversized Digits
Take the Oceanic challenge: When shopping for a new dive computer, compare the displays. When it comes to viewing critical information, which would you rather see at 100 feet-

Audible Alarms with Flashing LED Warning Light
The ATOM 2.0 features a variety of system and user-customized audible alarms, alerting you to situations that pose a potential danger, or simply serve as a convenient reminder.

Audible Alarm Acknowledgement-
Have you ever had difficulty hearing your computers audible alarm- Perhaps that little beep signifying a potentially dangerous situation was timed perfectly with your exhaust bubbles rushing past your ears. Or maybe it seemed insignificant as that huge manta ray soared overhead. You wont miss the ATOM 2.0s audible alarm. Once triggered, the alarm will sound continuously for 10 seconds. We know what youre thinking. "Thats nice, Ill definitely hear the alarm, but isnt that going to annoy me and everyone else in the water-" We thought of that too. The alarms job is to get your attention so that you look at the computer. Once it does that, simply press the button and it will stop. Youre a responsible diver and the ATOM 2.0 treats you that way.

Air, Nitrox or 100% Oxygen
The ATOM 2.0 acts simply as an Air computer until you tell it otherwise, whether that is this weekend or 2 years down the road.

Switch between 3 Nitrox Mixes, to 100% Oxygen
As your training and experience grow, the ATOM 2.0 is designed to grow with you, being easily programmed for up to three individual gas mixtures containing from 21% to 100% oxygen.

Oceanic Personal Dive Computer Algorithm
Decompression theory can be trusted only as far as it has been demonstrated by actual test dive data. In 1987 a unique series of experiments were conducted by Diving Science and Technology (DSAT). Commissioned by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), these Doppler ultrasound monitored human experiments conducted by Dr. Michael Powell produced the most comprehensive data set that exists for recreational divers to this day. These data were used to validate the PADI Recreational Dive Planner and are the basis of the algorithm used in all Oceanic Personal Dive Computers (PDCs).

Personal Conservative Factor Adjustment
When the Conservative Factor is set On, the no-decompression limit times are reduced to values equivalent to those that would be available at the next higher 3000 foot (915 meter) altitude.

"The Ultimate Adjustable Algorithm"
Thats the way divers, instructors and Authorized Dealers refer to Oceanic PDCs. Our tissue loading bar graphs provide complete control of your margin of safety for each dive. Want to be a bit more cautious- Make it a personal rule to never enter into the caution zone or stay one or more pixel away. Now you can even program several of our PDCs to do it for you with our patent pending Nitrogen Bar Graph Alarm set it once and let the ATOM 2.0 alert you when your bar graph reaches that level.

No Deco Safety Stop Prompt with Adjustable Depth and Time
An audible and visual alarm remind you as you approach your programmed no decompression safety stop depth and an automatic timer counts down to zero. As in any other dive mode, you still have access to other pieces of information, and there is no penalty should you choose to disregard the safety stop.

FastSet User Interface
Speed through menu items and set modes easily and quickly with Oceanics FastSet Menu and intuitive button operation.

Date and Time Stamp
The ATOM 2.0 features time of day on the surface as well as underwater for quick reference. Time and date stamp also helps you to easily identify specific dives in Log Mode or PC download memory.

Alphanumeric Display
An alphanumeric "Message Box" is incorporated in the upper portion of the ATOM 2.0 display to provide text and numeric readouts in simple, unambiguous terms. Imagine beginning an ascent and as the ascent speed increases hearing a warning beep from the ATOM 2.0 as the message box alerts with the words "TOO FAST" while the red LED warning light flashes.

Automatic Altitude Compensation
The ATOM 2.0 automatically compensates for altitude dives up to 14,000 feet, giving adjusted no-decompression times and depths. The ATOM 2.0 even automatically recalibrates the depth displays for freshwater instead of seawater above 2,000 feet.

Diver-Replaceable Batteries
The ATOM 2.0 and wireless transmitters feature diver replaceable batteries. This can be a real trip-saver on board a live-aboard boat!

Battery Hot Swap
Should you be in a tight spot between dives, the "hot-swap" feature allows you to change batteries between dives while maintaining all calculations.

24-Hour Fly Countdown and Calculated Desaturation Time
The ATOM 2.0 features both a 24-hour countdown timer and calculated Desaturation Time, the theoretical time required to off-gas all residual nitrogen at sea level.

Depth-Dependent Ascent Rate
The ATOM 2.0 features a depth-dependant ascent rate, allowing increased rates at deeper depths and providing additional safety as you near the surface.

SmartGlo® Backlighting
Want to verify your set mode options before your night dive- Press the side button to activate the backlight and go ahead! A small photo-sensor in the face of the ATOM 2.0 analyzes the intensity of ambient light each time another button is pressed. If it-s dark, SmartGlo backlighting will be there for you when you need it, and it will preserve battery life when you don-t.

24 Dive On-Unit Log Book
The ATOM 2.0 features on-unit data storage capacity for 24 dives. Date and time stamp makes locating and viewing a specific dive quick and easy .

To make easy work of customizing your ATOM 2.0, our user settings and options are organized in one of four set modes. Set F (FO2) includes all Nitrox settings. Set A (Alarms) allows you to activate and customize all audible alarms. Set U (Utilities) includes units of measurement, PC sampling rate, transmitter link codes, and conservative factor settings, and Set T (Time) includes date and time.

USER SETTINGS AND OPTIONS

Air, Nitrox or 100% O2
The ATOM 2.0 acts simply as an Air computer until you tell it otherwise, whether that is this weekend or 2 years down the road. As your training and experience grow, the ATOM 2.0 is designed to grow with you, being easily programmed for up to 3 independent Nitrox mixtures from 21% to 100%.

FO2 50% Default On/Off
Following a Nitrox dive, many dive computers calculate your next dive based on a "worse-case scenario", mix of 50% Oxygen and 79% Nitrogen should you forget to reset your actual mix. With FO2 50% Default OFF, your mix remains at the original set point until you change it again.

Receiver ON/OFF
Since the only information sent by the wireless transmitter is cylinder pressure and transmitter battery status, the ATOM 2.0 is actually a fully functional Personal Dive Computer without air integration features when the Receiver is set Off.

Digital Gauge Mode On/Off
Activate Digital Gauge Mode for dives conducted beyond the limits of the Air/Nitrox computer.

Audible Alarm and Flashing LED Warning Light On/Off
You may choose to deactivate all audible and LED alarms.

Maximum Depth Alarm
The Maximum Depth Alarm provides an audible warning upon reaching your planned maximum depth. This is an important safety feature for deeper dives or less experienced divers, and it comes in handy for rebreather diving where you can pre-set another level of safety.

Elapsed Dive Time Alarm
Youre on a boat trip and the captain says, "Dive your own profiles, but be back in an hour - were having lunch!" Just set your ATOM 2.0 to alert you when your elapsed dive time reaches one hour.

Nitrogen Tissue Loading Bar Graph Alarm
Oceanics trademark nitrogen bar graph design provides the ultimate user-adjustable computer. Want to be a bit more cautious- Make it a personal rule to never enter into the caution zone, or stay one pixel away, or - you get the point. Now you can program the ATOM 2.0 to do it for you. Set it once and let your computer alert you when your bar graph reaches a pre-determined level.

Dive Time Remaining Alarm
Dive Time Remaining provides a real number in minutes. This calculation considers both Nitrogen and Oxygen absorption, displaying whichever allows less time. With this unique ATOM 2.0 feature, you are able to program an audible alarm to alert you upon reaching a pre-set number in minutes.

Ending Pressure Alarm
Air Time Remaining calculations are based on the Ending Pressure Alarm. You define how much air you want in reserve upon reaching the surface.

Maximum PO2 Level Alarm (Nitrox)
When diving Nitrox, do you prefer your maximum PO2 exposure to be 1.2 ATA- 1.6 ATA- Depending on where you learned and your own personal comfort zone, the answer may be very different from diver to diver. The ATOM 2.0 lets you set your own limit. Program an audible alarm to sound at the level that you prefer.

Water Activation On/Off
The ATOM 2.0 automatically enters Dive Mode when the water contacts are wet, and the unit is submerged past 4 feet. To avoid this when swimming or enjoying other water sports, simply set Water Activation Off.

Units of Measurement
Choose between Metric and Imperial settings for date, temperature, depth and pressure.

Automatic Safety Stop Prompt with Adjustable Depth and Time
Set the Automatic Safety Stop Prompt On or Off. Set the Stop Depth to 10, 15 or 20 feet and the Stop Time to 3 or 5 minutes.

Personal Conservative Factor

PC Interface Sampling Rate
You have the option to choose at which rate (timed or depth transition) the ATOM 2.0 samples and stores data for later download to your PC. More frequent sampling will provide extreme detail of your dive profiles with limited storage capacity. Less frequent sampling, while it provides less detail, can store up to 150 dives.

Multiple Transmitter Link Code
The ATOM 2.0 wireless transmitter sends an encoded serial number, so that multiple units may be used side-by-side without interference. Each ATOM 2.0 may be programmed to link with up to 3 independent transmitters.

Patent Pending Nitrogen Tissue Loading Bar Graph Adjustment allows you to select the personal degree of conservatism you wish to build into each dive. An audible alarm alerts you when the bar graph has reached your maximum desired set point. (all models exept Veo 100/150)

"The ultimate adjustable algorithm." Thats the way divers, instructors and Oceanic Dealers refer to Oceanic PDCs. Our trademark bar graphs provide complete control of your margin of safety for each dive. Want to be a bit more cautious- Make it a personal rule to never enter into the caution zone, or stay one pixel away, or - you get the point. Now you can even program several of our PDCs to do it for you with our patent pending Nitrogen Bar Graph Alarm set it once and let your computer alert you when your bar graph reaches that level.

*Battery Life: Battery life estimates are based on full-capacity batteries, and continuous usage as described.

- 7 days per week

- 2 dives per day

- 1 hour dive time

- 2 hour surface interval

- 18 hour interval from last dive to the first of the next day

* The ATOM 2.0 Transmitter consumes little or no battery power when inactive, or not pressurized. For purposes of this specification, use life is based on continuous use, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

** Oceanic Personal Dive Computers have user selectable Sampling Rates that determine when data is sampled and stored for subsequent download to associated PC interface programs. More frequent sampling provides more data per dive yet results in storage of fewer dives for download. Use with Air or Nitrox, with or without air integration, dive profiles, Free Diving activities, and other variables may also affect the number of dives that can be stored.

Sampling Rate 512K Estimated Capacity
60 Seconds 100-110 Hours
30 Seconds 50-55 Hours
15 Seconds 25-30 Hours
2 Seconds 4-5 Hours
1 Seconds (Free Dive) 1.5-2 Hours

Oceanic Veo 1.0 Wrist

Oceanic Veo 1.0 Wrist. The Oceanic Veo 1.0 is a solid basic computer designed for air or single gas nitrox mixes up to 50 percent. It displays only essential information during the dive in easy-to-read digits; uses effective bar graphs to present nitrogen loading and ascent rate; and offers useful features like an automatic safety stop countdown timer that ticks off three minutes when you ascend to 15 feet. A single push button is all thats required to navigate the settings and the sequences are intuitive with help from the excellent owners manual and waterproof prompt card. At this price point, you are giving up bells and whistles--most notably audible alarms, a backlight and the ability to download dive profiles--but these are excellent choices if you want a simple, low-cost computer. Now available with metric system.Features:- Powered by Oceanics Exclusive Dual Algorithm™ - Your choice between Pelagic DSAT (Spencer/Powell data basis) or Pelagic Z+ (Buhlmann ZHL-16C data basis)- Air or Single Nitrox Mix to 50% O2- Safety Stop Countdown Timer- - Water and/or manual activation- Single button access to "Last Dive" display (max depth & bottom time)- 12 dive on-unit log book- Memory Reset for rental and training applications- Diver-Replaceable Battery with 8-second "Hot Swap"- Now available with metric system.Technology:Liberal Recreational DivingThe Pelagic DSAT Algorithm safely maximizes dive time for repetitive, multi-level recreational diving. This algorithm relies on the human Doppler studies used to develop PADI’s Recreational Dive Planner (RDP), and has been the basis of our Dive Computers and other manufacturers computer algorithms for many years. To add additional conservatism, you can also adjust the:Tissue-Loading Bar Graph AlarmConservative Factor Setting Choose Pelagic Z+ for:Conservative Recreational DivingWhen applied to standard recreational diving, the Pelagic Z+ Algorithm basis increases the conservative factor of the OC1 by 15-20%.Liberal Repetitive Deep and Decompression DivingThe Pelagic Z+ uses the Buhlmann ZHL-16C database, which was conducted to meet the more rigorous demands of repetitive, cold-water decompression diving at altitude. The Pelagic Z+ mode maximizes dive times at depth without penalties.Dive in sync with any buddy, anywhere.Because the Dual Algorithm allows you to adjust the algorithm basis and its conservatism, you can adjust to closely match just about any other dive computer on the market, allowing you and any buddy to always dive in sync. You can’t control which dive computer your buddy wears, but you can control your ability to dive the same profile.
