Cressi Ellipse Steel - Ac10
Cressi Ellipse Steel - Ac10. This regulator is made up of the 2nd stage Ellipse, with steel cap (Steel version), combined with the Balanced Piston 1st stage
The AC10 1st stage is the latest version of the Cressi balanced piston model, manufactured for many years and highly appreciated for its exceptionally durable and reliable characteristics.
1st stage AC10
The 1st stage is the renowned Cressi AC10 balanced piston model.
It can be supplied with international yoke or with 200 or 300 bar DIN connections.
This balanced piston first stage means performance remains constant, irrespective of depth and pressure from the tanks.
With the continuous reviews and improvements over the years all the air passages inside the first stage have been completely redesigned and considerably increased so as to give the excellent performance that AC10 offers today.
Alongside this excellent performance, the AC10 boasts simple mechanics, resistance to wear and tear and requires so little upkeep that it has become a product with legendary reliability.
It has some 5 low-pressure ports located right around a swivel head, which guarantees rational hose positioning on any valve.
We must also point out the quick and really handy external system to regulate intermediate pressure, which can be calibrated in a few seconds with a normal Allen key and the extremely powerful sintered filter system to filter air from the tanks.
Technical features AC10 balanced piston 1st stage:
-Supply pressure (INT connection) 0-232 bar
-Supply pressure (DIN connection) 0-200 or 0-300 bar
-Calibration pressure 9.5-10 bar
-Calibration adjustment range +/- 0.5 bar
-Air supply 2800 l/min (*)
-High pressure ports (HP) 2
-Low pressure ports (LP) 5
(*)values measured at LP port with second stage connected and 150 bar pressure in the tanks.
Cressi Ellipse Steel - Mc7 Af
Cressi Ellipse Steel - Mc7 Af. This model has been designed mainly for use in cold water.
The MC8 diaphragm first stage comes with the standard issue antifreeze kit and the second stage is identical to the one used in the Ellipse Titanium.
The first stage of the Ellipse Alaska is the already famous and excellent Cressi MC8 model balanced diaphragm. It comes with the antifreeze kit, which provides an additional waterproof chamber, to screw onto the end of the first stage.
This chamber ends with a silicon diaphragm on the outside that seals off the inside from contact with water, while still transmitting any pressure variation to the inner organs, thanks to the flexibility of the material.
The antifreeze kit is composed of two main parts, both made from strong chrome-plated brass. There is a mushroom element inside, made from acetylic resin, which connects the external diaphragm to the internal one.
The use of the antifreeze kit completely eliminates any water seepage into the external part of the first stage, so not only does it prevent the formation of ice in this area, but it also prevents the formation of deposits and incrustations on the diaphragm and on the spring.
This provides considerable advantages for divers working in mineral-rich water or with lots of suspension (archaeological sites, port works, caving etc.)
Cressi Ellipse Titanium - Mc9 Sc
Cressi Ellipse Titanium - Mc9 Sc. Pairing of 2nd stage Ellipse Titanium with the 1st stage hyper-balanced MC9 - SC
This is a very high performance regulator, with the best Cressi 1st stage that feeds a sophisticated 2nd stage a true market leader thanks to its dimensions and lightness.
The 1st stage MC9 - SC is identical to model MC9, but with a special Seal Chamber which completely isolates the diaphragm and spring from contact with water.
Ideal for diving in waters that are rich in suspension and mineral salts, for archaeological work, for potholing and diving in cold waters.
2nd stage Ellipse Titanium
A latest generation regulator, loved by both professional and recreational divers thanks to its excellent performance.
The small size, combined with the use of sophisticated techno-polymers and various titanium parts allow the weight to be kept to an exceptional minimum.
Technologically the regulator is truly avant-garde, thanks to a series of unprecedented features, covered by a patent, that enhance its performance.
Amongst which:
The elliptical casing with special fold out opening.
Instant cam-lock closure of the casing.
The folding diaphragm for use with a large regulator lever.
The regulator lever with its computer designed profile.
The tilting movement of the piston.
The insulating anti-freeze between the regulator valve and casing.
The possibility of removing the entire regulating system from the body of the 2nd stage, for quick and easy maintenance.
The result of so much technology is a regulator that supplies air smoothly and with unprecedented fluidity.
All this with an excellent price/quality ratio.

Oceanic Eos Fdx 10 Int Dvt
Oceanic Eos Fdx 10 Int Dvt. Every breath is a dream come true. For over 30 years, Oceanics R&D group has taken advantage of new materials, development of rapid prototyping, advanced computer aided design systems, objective testing, and lots of open water dives in an effort to develop a regulator with the lowest measurable inhalation effort in order to provide air to a diver at the extremes of human capacity.
When engineering brought the near complete EOS in for conformational testing the results were so astounding, the laboratory stopped testing and performed a complete calibration of all instruments, and in re-testing the EOS was found to have a near effortless inhalation resistive effort on test after test. Perfect.
Comprised of precision-machined components and extensive research and design, the EOS regulator has achieved an incredible feat-lifelike breathing. Oceanic-s gifted team of design engineers has included effortless breathing, inhalation effort adjustments, and comfortable second stage swivels and orthodontic mouthpieces into a regulator that you can hold in the palm of your hand. This is far more than just another regulator in the eyes of the Oceanic team, this is a dream come true.
- Pneumatically balanced second stage with virtually no breathing effort
- Diver adjustable inhalation effort
- Patented Dynamic Adjustment automatically maintains inhalation effort throughout the dive
- Ergonomic Adjustable Venturi Switch (A.V.S.) for simple Dive/Pre-Dive Adjustment
- Stainless steel inline swivel for reduced jaw fatigue and comfort
- Paired with the rugged FDX-10 Over-Balanced Diaphragm First Stage featuring DVT (Dry Valve Technology)
Pneumatically Balanced Valve.
The pneumatically balanced second stage reduces breathing resistance to near zero with a balanced valve seat designed to respond to the slightest inhalation.
A pneumatically balanced second stage actually has (or can have) the same initial crack opening effort as a mechanically balanced, but the spring force of a pneumatically balanced second stage is lighter so it-s spring rate is also lower. Therefore the force required to open the valve farther as flow increases is less than that required for a mechanically balanced second stage with a higher rate spring. So the total effort to breathe the pneumatically balanced second stage is indeed less.
The spring force must be just enough to overcome the difference between downstream air pressure and upstream balance chamber pressure.
The downstream air travels through a hole in the poppet into the balance chamber and applies an "upstream" force just slightly less than the downstream force.
Diver Adjustable Inhalation Effort.
Most downstream demand valve regulators are calibrated during manufacturing to a single, middle of the road operation. Whether finning up current at 100+ feet or merely snorkeling out to the dive site, this factory adjustment may not be optimum for the wide variety of demands we place on our equipment. A simple twist of the adjustment knob enables complete control... Set the inhalation requirement to near zero when you need ultimate performance, or tune it for greater resistance as conditions or preferences change.
Patented Dynamic Adjustment.
A common objection to adjustable second stages is that divers cant imagine themselves twisting and turning a knob as they descend and ascend through the depths. If inhalation resistance is set near zero at depth, your ascent would require you to manually increase resistance as ambient water pressure is reduced to prevent free-flow. Taking another stride beyond common second stage engineering, Oceanic designed a patented DYNAMIC ADJUSTMENT feature into the heart of the EOS. This mechanically balanced valve maintains your preferred breathing resistance throughout the dive. Set it once and the EOS automatically adjusts to make breathing as easy at 100 feet as it is at 30 feet - with no additional manual adjustment.
Ergonomic A.V.S. (Adjustable Venturi System) Dive/Pre-Dive Switch.
Designed to be unobtrusive, yet easily manipulated even with the thickest gloves, the A.V.S. deflector vane found in the EOS either diverts airflow from the valve to the mouthpiece, producing effortless venturi-assisted inhalation or creates enough resistance to prevent free flow on the surface.
Stainless Steel Inline Swivel.
Ever notice that nearly every picture you see of a diver, their regulator looks like it-s not the least bit comfortable- The EOS features an ergonomically designed stainless steel (no plating) in-line swivel for ultimate comfort.
Computer Optimized Design.
The EOS was designed using the latest 3-D computer modeling techniques. This allows us the ability to model and test performance while still in the early stages of development. The EOS-s unique valve, deflector vane and housing design directs airflow from the valve directly to the mouthpiece, producing nearly effortless venturi-assisted inhalation.
Patented Orthodontic Mouthpiece with High-Density Bite Tabs.
To further reduce jaw fatigue, the EOS features a patented Orthodontic Mouthpiece, designed to accommodate the natural overbite of the human jaw.
Nitrox Compatible.
The EOS FDX-10 is classified as being suitable for use with Nitrox breathing gas mixtures containing up to 40% oxygen by volume without the need for special preparation, cleaning or component parts.
FDX-10 Over-Balanced Diaphragm First Stage.
The Forged from marine-grade brass, the FDX-10 features optimized air paths and angled hose ports for superior performance and comfort. A sealed Balanced Diaphragm design, Enviro Kit and patented DVT (Dry Valve Technology) isolate all internal components from the environment. 2 high pressure and 4 low pressure ports allow convenient and comfortable hose routing.
The FDX-10 high performance over-balanced first stage provides progressively greater intermediate pressure as depth and gas density increases. The center -pads- that the diaphragms act against are different sizes so the working area of the outer environmental diaphragm is larger than the working area of the inner diaphragm. As depth increases, more pressure is applied to the larger surface area of the outer diaphragm than would be applied to the internal diaphragm. The result is superior gas delivery under the most extreme conditions.
DVT (Dry Valve Technology)
Ever wonder why they call it a "dust cap" and not a water cap- Most dust caps are not designed to keep water from entering your first stage. Regardless of how carefully you may maintain your regulator, water entry is a much more common problem than most divers realize.
DVT is a revolutionary regulator technology designed to automatically eliminate moisture and contaminants from entering your first stage, even if the dust cap is accidentally left off. DVT eliminates corrosion of critical internal components, bacteria, hose deterioration, and damaged gauges and computers.

Scubapro Mk25t S600t Din 300
Scubapro Mk25t S600t Din 300. These systems cater to passionate divers who demand flawless performance and total relaxation.
The SCUBAPRO S-Series regulators feature air-balanced valve technology providing ultra-high airflow that remains exceptionally stable under all breathing conditions.
MK25T/S600T TITANIUM REGULATOR SYSTEM:
This system offers the same performance as the brass version, but in a sophisticated and lightweight package:
Machined titanium body and components for the MK25T, from a solid block of titanium.
Titanium trim ring and plate for the S600T.
MK25T FIRST STAGE:
SCUBAPRO has been the leader in the evolution of piston controlled first stages since its beginning the MK25 carries on this heritage with an array of patented features ensuring unfailing performance.
The MK25 is a balanced piston first stage, our absolute top performer.
It is a superior regulator thanks to its ultra stable intermediate pressure resulting in an extremely punctual and constantly high delivery of air.
This means instant airflow at any tank pressure and water temperature for a real carefree dive.
This Titanium version means same quality and performance but in an ultra sophisticated and lightweight package.
Machined titanium body and components from a solid block of titanium.
Air balanced flow-through piston- First stages with air balanced pistons deliver significantly more air to the second stage than any other first stage, while their performance is totally unaffected by the changing tank pressure.
A balanced piston allows the use of lighter and more sensitive components, resulting in ultra fast breathing response, instant delivery of air on demand, and extra high air flow, especially in low tank pressure ranges.
The tired diver benefits from a smoother breathing regulator during the ascent or deco stop.
Balanced piston first stages are the first choice of demanding sport divers and professionals.
A balanced piston performs equally in warm and cold water environments.
Two opposite high pressure ports- The arrangement of high and low pressure hoses is crucial to diving comfort.
Two opposite high pressure ports allow for an individual positioning of the first stage (pointing up or down).
This allows the diverto position the gauges either on the right or left side and increases the freedom of movement for head and neck.
Multiple low pressure ports- For ultimate freedom in the arrangement of low pressure hoses, the MK25 accommodates five HF (high flow) ports on a swiveling turret, which allows for 360 degree swivel of hoses. High flow ports deliver about 15% more air than conventional ports.
S600T SECOND STAGE:
A second stage regulator must translate natural breathing behaviour into mechanical reality.
A high quality second stage can significantly reduce stress and enhance diver safety by providing smooth, low-effort breathing response, resulting in ample yet controllable quantities of air.
The designation balanced and classic downstream are also distinguishing marks for second stages and again imply ultimate flow performance and stability in addition to reliability, simplicity and solid performance.
Same performance as the brass version, but in a sophisticated and lightweight package: Titanium trim ring and plate for S600T
The air-balanced valve technology of SCUBAPRO-s S600 second stage features a balancing chamber in the second stage mechanism, slightly offsetting the force of the downstream air entering from the first stage.
This allows reduced spring tension and decreases the inhalation resistance to the lowest possible level.
The result is super smooth breathing in all conditions. The air-balanced valve technology is featured in the X and S-Series second stages.
For best results they should be combined with balanced first stages, like the MK25 or MK17.
Precision molded carbon fiber & technopolymer housing: low friction, light weight, corrosion and cold water resistant for long life & sturdiness.
Diver adjustable inhalation effort.
This feature enables the diver to adjust breathing effort via an oversized control knob it is available on the X650, S600, and G250V second stages.
All other second stages feature a pre-set inhalation effort that suits the most common diving conditions and can be fine tuned at an Authorized SCUBAPRO Dealer on request.
Venturi Initiated Vacuum Assist (VIVA).
Another SCUBAPRO patented feature, the VIVA is available on all SCUBAPRO second stages.
VIVA uses the power of a vacuum assist to reduce work of breathing and increase breathing comfort.
It is diver adjustable on all current SCUBAPRO second stages except the R295, since it is a second stage intentionally designed for diver training courses, rental facilities, and divers demanding ready to use equipment.
A VIVA in MAX position gives powerful breathing support on every single breath a VIVA in MIN position helps to prevent free flow on the surface, for training, for buddy breathing, in currents, or when used as an octopus.
Orthodontic mouthpiece. SCUBAPRO uses a comfortable orthodontic mouthpiece on every second stage to reduce jaw fatigue and gum irritation.
It was developed by dentists and dental laboratories and lasts longer than any other mouthpiece, because only a minimum effort is needed to hold it comfortably in place.
Sturdy high flow hose with kevlar lining for extra durability and flawless air delivery.
Super high-flow exhaust valve provides the lowest exhalation effort and better breathing comfort.
