Aqualung Legend Lx Acd
Aqualung Legend Lx Acd. The Legend LX ACD diaphragm first stage combines the reliability of a completely sealed unit with the ease of breathing and quality construction common to all Aqua Lung regulators. The Legend LX ACD adjustable balanced second stage delivers air with consistent ease regardless of tank pressure and is near neutrally buoyant in the water.
Auto-Closure Device (ACD) seals the regulator-s inlet fitting, both Yoke and DIN, as soon as the regulator is removed from the cylinder valve.
º This will keep water and contaminants out of the regulator-s first stage during rinsing and storage.
º It allows the first stage to maintain peak performance over time
º The first stage will retain its internal lubrication longer
º Makes the first stage safer for nitrox use
The new ACD feature coupled with the environmental dry chamber, results in a first stage that is completely sealed off from the environment.
Over-balanced diaphragm design delivers superior breathing performance even at increased depths
Environmentally sealed dry chamber helps resist freezing and keeps the internal mechanism clean and dry
Inhalation adjustment feature permits diver to control breathing gas delivery under a variety of diving conditions
Pneumatically balanced second stage provides consistent ease of inhalation at any tank pressure
Aqua Lungs "Air Turbo System" integrated into the forward medium pressure ports, boosts the regulators breathing performance
Diver-controlled Venturi Adjustment Switch (VAS) reduces sensitivity to free flow on the surface and provides maximum airflow at depth
Exclusive Comfo-Bite- mouthpiece virtually eliminates jaw fatigue
Two high-pressure ports and four low-pressure ports, angled for optimal hose configuration
Black polyurethane coating protects the exterior metal surfaces
CE warranty certificate available under request
Aqualung Legend Supreme Acd
Aqualung Legend Supreme Acd. The Legend Supreme regulator series incorporates a proprietary over-balanced diaphragm first stage design coupled with a high performance balanced second stage. The over-balanced first stage achieves unprecedented performance by increasing your air supply the deeper you go. The balanced adjustable second stage reduces breathing resistance to near zero with a lightweight balanced valve seat designed to respond instantaneously to the slightest inhalation. The Legend Supreme regulator series is the best performing regulator Aqua Lung has ever offered. Legendary performance from Aqua Lung: a tradition for 60 years.
* *Compatible with EAN 40 right out of the box
* *Din adapter Option
The Legend ACD Supreme is the cold water version of the Legend ACD and can be identified by the "snowflake" laser-etched into the case. It is matched with the same Legend first stage as found on the other Legend models with additional coldwater features. The Legend ACD second stage is a pneumatically balanced design that does not require diver adjustment. The Legend ACD is matched exclusively with the Legend over-balanced diaphragm first stage.
Auto-Closure Device (ACD) seals the regulator-s inlet fitting, both Yoke and DIN, as soon as the regulator is removed from the cylinder valve.

Cressi Ellipse Black Balanced Nr - Mc9 Din
Cressi Ellipse Black Balanced Nr - Mc9 Din. Pairing of balanced and adjustable 2nd stage Ellipse Balanced with the hyper-balanced 1st stage MC9.
Thanks to the performance and the highly technological content of both stages this regulator is placed at the very top of the Cressi range.
The user can adjust the Venturi effect (dive / pre-dive) at any time during the dive.
Technical Features:
2nd stage Ellipse Balanced:
- Many of the exclusive technical characteristics of Ellipse, covered by 4 international patents, have been transferred to this new second stage.
- Ellipse Balanced has a slightly larger casing which is made from a sound absorbing material, and a new diaphragm that further improves the already very low inhalation effort of Ellipse.
- The weight is very low (the lightest in the category).
- The pneumatic balancing system of the piston allows for constant performance at any depth and with any air pressure in the tanks.
- A small lever, located in the upper part of the casing, acts as a flow deviator and allows the Venturi effect to be adjusted. When placed in position (-) it functions as pre-dive, for getting into the water and the first stages of the dive, whilst when moved to (+) it allows the regulator to develop its maximum performance.
- An internal heat exchanger optimises the performance of the regulator even in cold waters.
- The special study of air flows inside the casing has meant that absolutely natural, smooth and very silent breathing has been obtained.
- The standard release baffle can be directly replaced by the user for a larger model which pushes the bubbles further way from the diver-s face.
- The possibility of quickly removing the entire mechanical part from the casing significantly aids maintenance operations.
Technical Characteristics of the 2nd stage Ellipse Balanced with 1st stage MC9:
- Average inhalation effort 3 mbar.
- Average exhalation effort 8 mbar.
- Average breathing labour 0.75 J/l.
- Quantity of air supplied 2500 l/m (*).
- Weight without hose 170 g.
(*) Values measured in compliance with standard UNI EN 250.
1st stage MC9:
- Hyper-balanced Diaphragm 1st stage with highly technological content that places it at the top of the Cressi range.
- Very light body covered by a protective elastomer shell.
- Cylinder sheathed in an antifriction and anticorrosion material that guarantees perfect sliding of the piston and long maintenance intervals.
- The nozzle, made from 316 stainless steel, can be easily replaced, thus ensuring perfect air-tightness, even after many years of use.
- Advanced research on the passage of internal air and a special assistance chamber have enabled the drop of pressure upon inhalation to be kept to a minimum, thus guaranteeing high performance in any situation.
- Hyper-balancing allows for an increase of the intermediate pressure at maximum depths and lowering of the pressure in the tank, offering higher performance during the delicate ascent phase and at maximum depths.
- DIN 200/300 bar fitting in stainless steel which prevents deformation of the thread in the event that the regulator suffers any falls.
