Extremely slippery: it makes the suit easy to put on and remove, while maintaining a great seal against the skin. Warmth: low heat conduction makes the suit warmer. Easy to maintain: excellent dirt and water repellent qualities. Available in graphite, sapphire and metal.- DOUBLE CONE: The Double Cone System (with or without zips) minimizes the water flow in the most critical sealing areas like wrists and ankles. First, fold the glide part of the inner cone against your skin. Second, overlap a glove with the glide surface of the upper cone, thus providing an incomparable seal. - COMFORT PLUSH: This internal plush fabric has a low heat conductivity thus retaining warmth and providing a comfortable feeling. Moreover, its loop finish gives a softer feel against the skin. Both Thermo and Comfort Plush are easy to identify on a Mares suit, thanks to the use of red color that shows the different fabrics inside the suit.- SUPRATEX KNEE PAD: Knee protection made of anti-scratch polyurethane not only looks sharp, but is engineered for high strength and protection without compromising -exibility. The linear design moves in line with your body while still guarding this high wear area.- TITEX ZIPs: Both Mares Isotherm and 2ndSkin use a TIZIP high strength zipper. Isotherm uses a horizontal version, the SuperSeal, which is the perfect zipper for semi dry diving suits. The 2ndSkin uses the SilverSeal which is extremely strong and forgiving when installed upright in the back of steamers. For best performance, it is recommended that both be lubricated regularly.- DOUBLE SEALING SYSTEM: Advanced construction utilizing an internal gasket seal for the least water movement. The combined action of the internal neoprene O-ring with the skin seal creates this double barrier called Double Sealing System. Two technologies together to minimize the water flow through the wrists.This is as warm as it gets in a semidry suit! And that’s what the name Isotherm has been all about for over 20 years. The new SheDives model combines all innovations in one single suit.Perfect cold protection and highest comfort are usually mutually exclusive. But the Isotherm is different, because in this model Mares’ development engineers combined highly advanced materials with a perfect, anatomically preformed cut for women. The ladies will appreciate the result: A clear plus in terms of comfort, not only with regard to donning and doffing the suit, but also with regard to mobility – above and below water – thanks to the partial use of super elastic neoprene. Simultaneously, all “interfaces” to cold water are hermetically sealed in different ways.The overall features a highly flexible and waterproof TIZIP back zipper, the location and dimension of which were further enhanced in this new model. The double sealing system with zippers at the arms and legs also seals especially tight. The highlights of these sophisticated seals are a concealed O-ring system for exact adjustment at the extremities and elliptical seams for significantly higher resilience. To protect the seams from bursting, there is a second layer of elastic neoprene at the transition to both seals which are coated with glide skin on both sides.The separate hood with glide skin neoprene and the dual glide skin collar of the suit use the key-lock principle and therefore also seal hermetically – cold water doesn’t stand a chance with the Isotherm!
