Balanced Composite Piston: The key to performance
At the heart of the MK25 is a patented piston, the result of advanced engineering. Its innovative design, combining a variable-diameter stainless steel rod and a technopolymer head, offers unrivaled responsiveness. Twice as light as a standard piston, it ensures exceptional airflow to the second stage and accessories. The overbalancing of the piston guarantees a stable intermediate pressure, even when the cylinder pressure decreases, ensuring optimal breathing comfort throughout the dive, especially during ascent and stops.
Anti-Freeze Solutions: Dive with confidence, even in cold water
Scubapro has integrated advanced technologies into the MK25 to combat freezing, a common phenomenon in cold water. The T.I.S. (Thermal Insulation System) effectively isolates cold parts with sleeves, inserts and a special coating. A new patented cap, with fins acting as radiator fins, increases the heat exchange surface area with the water, thus warming the internal parts cooled by gas expansion. The MK25 is CE approved for cold water diving at 300 bar and has been successfully tested in extreme cold conditions.
External Intermediate Pressure Adjustment: Easy maintenance
The external intermediate pressure adjustment allows Scubapro authorized technicians to fine-tune the regulator after servicing without having to disassemble the first stage. A practical advantage for quick and efficient maintenance.
