15 divers, together with the guides and crew aboard Singapore-based liveaboard MV White Manta, have been detained for six days by the Indonesian authorities after straying into Indonesian waters.
White Manta was heading for the 'Seven Skies' wreck off the eastern coast of Johor, Malaysia on 8 October when she was intercepted by an Indonesian Naval vessel. All 32 people on board were taken to the island of Bintan for "immigration purposes" after claims that the vessel had strayed into Indonesian waters.
