Cressi Capsule Compass. The Cressi compass is a modern instrument that enables easy reading in all conditions.
The magnetic plate moves extensively in all directions, so that reading is accurate even if the instrument is not held perfectly level.
The face is luminous and divided into 10° intervals.
Reading can take place by looking at the instrument from above or, more easily, through a special reading window that enables more precise tracking of the compass.
On the top there is a red lubber-s line.
A swivel trigger lunette with a double pointer means the direction can be memorized.

Compass Balancing
The horizontal and vertical components of the earths magnetic field vary considerably in different locations. For this reason Suunto compasses are balanced for 5 different zones. If the compass is used in an adjacent balancing zone, many compass pointers will tilt only slightly. However, the farther a compass is used from its correct zone, the more its pointer tilts. In extreme cases, the pointer will stick. For this reason, it is extremely important to know in which country a compass will be used.
