R295 OCTOPUS-The Ideal Octopus.

-Classic downstream valve. Classic downstream valves are particularly noted for their legendary safety and reliability. When in use,
the downstream valve opens in the same direction as the incoming air flow. To close the valve and stop the air flow, a spring counteracts the force of the incoming air. Therefore, a certain inhalation effort is always required to overcome the spring tension and open the valve.

-Fixed VIVA (Venturi Initiated Vacuum Assist) flow vane. Fixed in the pre-tuned ideal position for safe and uncomplicated use. VIVA is another SCUBAPRO patented feature, the VIVA is available on all SCUBAPRO second stages. VIVA uses the power of a vacuum assist to reduce work of breathing and increase breathing comfort. It is diver adjustable on all current SCUBAPRO second stages except the R295, since it is a second stage intentionally designed for diver training courses, rental facilities and divers demanding ready to use equipment. A VIVA in MAX position gives powerful breathing support on every single breath a VIVA in MIN position helps to prevent free fl ow on the surface, for training, for buddy breathing, in currents or when used as an octopus.

-Extremely lightweight and compact. Comfortable for all divers, including junior divers newly initiated in the sport.

-Orthodontic mouthpiece. SCUBAPRO uses a comfortable orthodontic mouthpiece on every second stage to reduce jaw fatigue and gum irritation. It was developed by dentists and dental laboratories and lasts longer than any other mouthpiece, because only a minimum effort is needed to hold it comfortably in place.

-1 meter hose for convenient alternate air soruce function with yellow hose protector and yellow regulator cover for easy identification

-Left & right hose attachments for extra flexibility and cofortable positioning, so you can keep it on whatever side feels best. Supplied as standard with right hand hose attachment. Left hand conversion must be performed by an Authorised SCUBAPRO service technician.

Scubapro Mk25 First Stage

Scubapro Mk25 First Stage. SCUBAPRO is synonymous with piston-controlled first stages. Our MK25 underscores this heritage with an array of patented features and ultra-stable intermediate pressure, for an extremely punctual and consistent high delivery of air, ensuring unfailing performance.• The MK25 balanced piston first stage is our absolute top performer, making this system our very best!• Air balanced flow-through piston provides constant and effortless air flow unaffected by changing tank pressure.• Newly polished chrome edition with 5 low pressure and 2 high pressure ports plus swiveling turret for convenient arrangement and personalisation of your gear.• Anti-freeze protection for all diving temperatures and externally adjustable intermediate pressure for easy maintenance.• Available in either 232bar INT or 300bar DIN configuration.Air balanced flow-through piston- First stages with air balanced pistons deliver significantly more air to the second stage than any other first stage, while their performance is totally unaffected by the changing tank pressure. A balanced piston allows the use of lighter and more sensitive components, resulting in ultra fast breathing response, instant delivery of air on demand, and extra high air flow, especially in low tank pressure ranges. The tired diver benefits from a smoother breathing regulator during the ascent or deco stop. Balanced piston first stages are the first choice of demanding sport divers and professionals. A balanced piston performs equally in warm and cold water environments. Two opposite high pressure ports- The arrangement of high and low pressure hoses is crucial to diving comfort. Two opposite high pressure ports allow for an individual positioning of the first stage (pointing up or down). This allows the diver to position the gauges either on the right or left side and increases the freedom of movement for head and neck. Multiple low pressure ports- For ultimate freedom in the arrangement of low pressure hoses, the MK25 accommodates five HF (high flow) ports on a swiveling turret, which allows for 360 degree swivel of hoses. High flow ports deliver about 15% more air than conventional ports. DIN/INT first stage configurations- To ensure worldwide compatibility, all SCUBAPRO regulator systems are available in a 232bar INT version as well as 300bar DIN versions. Externally adjustable intermediate pressure- Allows authorized SCUBAPRO service technicians to quickly fine tune or make adjustments after maintenance without the need to disassemble the first stage. Chrome plated brass body- machined marine grade, for excellent resistance to corrosion and long lasting robustness. Cold Water Diving With SCUBAPRO- Diving conditions can be drastically different, including extreme cold water and ambient air temperatures, posing the possibility of a regulator "freezing". Therefore, resistance to freezing is imperative for the diver. All SCUBAPRO regulator systems are CE approved for 300bar cold water diving. Some models go even beyond this super stringent qualification and have successfully been tested in extreme cold diving conditions at less than 2°C. As a specific anti-freezing measure, SCUBAPRO engineers have designed special anti-freeze components and features for the MK25 first stages for optimal cold water diving. The ribs act as a radiator to increase the surface area of heat transfer from the water to warm up the internal parts that have been drastically cooled down by the gas pressure drop. For cold water diving, SCUBAPRO’s second stages feature precision molded carbon fiber and technopolymer valve housing and components. They even exceed the CE cold water norm. In addition, these components contribute to their lightweight features and corrosion resistance. Scubapro Mk17 First Stage. MK17 FIRST STAGEA high performance balanced diaphragm first stage regulator, the MK17 has been engineered for harsh environments and for use in ice cold water or polluted environments. Resistance to cold has indeed been a key element in the engineering of the MK17. The Diaphragm Technology. Diaphragm-based first stages are environmentally sealed so that water cannot enter the inner mechanism. Bearing in mind that regulators generate temperatures up to minus 30°C due to the incredibly fast moving air and the pressure drop involved, it is imperative that sensitive moving metal parts avoid contact with extremely cold water. Therefore, diaphragm first stages have been the favoured choice of cold-water divers and those working in contaminated or muddy water.SCUBAPRO diaphragm first stages feature balanced technology and are packed with patented features resulting in ultra fast flow to the second stage on demand and a fantastic overall performance. •Dry ambient pressure chamber, providing better performance in cold water than any other diaphragm regulator. The diaphragm design prevents the entry of water into the first stage mechanism and enhances a trouble-free operation, even in the coldest conditions. •Patented finned cap with ribs increase surface area to maximise heat transfer from the water to warm the cold internal components. •The balanced technology provides consistent performance at all cylinder pressures, at any depth and optimises the second stage performance, thus allowing for effortless breathing. •Two opposite high pressure ports- The arrangement of high and low pressure hoses is crucial to diving comfort. Two opposite high pressure ports allow for an individual positioning of the first stage (pointing up or down). This allows the diver to position the gauges either on the right or left side and increases the freedom of movement for head and neck. •Multiple low pressure ports- For ultimate freedom in the arrangement of low pressure hoses, the MK17 features four stationary low pressure ports, two of them HF. High flow ports deliver about 15% more air than conventional ports. •DIN/INT first stage configurations- To ensure worldwide compatibility, all SCUBAPRO regulator systems are available in a 200bar INT version as well as 300bar DIN versions. •Externally adjustable intermediate pressure- Allows authorised SCUBAPRO service technicians to quickly fine tune or make adjustments after maintenance without the need to disassemble the first stage. S600 SECOND STAGE

A second stage regulator must translate natural breathing behaviour into mechanical reality. A high quality second stage can significantly reduce stress and enhance diver safety by providing smooth, low-effort breathing response, resulting in ample yet controllable quantities of air.

The designation balanced and classic downstream are also distinguishing marks for second stages and again imply ultimate flow performance and stability in addition to reliability, simplicity and solid performance.

-The air-balanced valve technology of SCUBAPRO-s S600 second stage features a balancing chamber in the second stage mechanism, slightly offsetting the force of the downstream air entering from the first stage. This allows reduced spring tension and decreases the inhalation resistance to the lowest possible level. The result is super smooth breathing in all conditions. The air-balanced valve technology is featured in the X and S-Series second stages. For best results they should be combined with balanced first stages, like the MK25, MK19 or MK17.

-Precision moulded carbon fiber & technopolymer housing: low friction, light weight, corrosion and cold water resistant for long life & sturdiness.

-Diver adjustable inhalation effort. This feature enables the diver to adjust breathing effort via an oversized control knob it is available on the X650, S600, and G250V second stages. All other second stages feature a pre-set inhalation effort that suits the most common diving conditions and can be fine tuned at an Authorized SCUBAPRO Dealer on request.

-Venturi Initiated Vacuum Assist (VIVA). Another SCUBAPRO patented feature, the VIVA is available on all SCUBAPRO second stages. VIVA uses the power of a vacuum assist to reduce work of breathing and increase breathing comfort. It is diver adjustable on all current SCUBAPRO second stages except the R295, since it is a second stage intentionally designed for diver training courses, rental facilities, and divers demanding ready to use equipment. A VIVA in MAX position gives powerful breathing support on every single breath a VIVA in MIN position helps to prevent free flow on the surface, for training, for buddy breathing, in currents, or when used as an octopus.

-Sturdy high flow hose with Kevlar lining for extra durability and flawless air delivery.

-Super high-flow exhaust valve provides the lowest exhalation effort and better breathing comfort.

BUOYANCY CONTROL & SAFETY:

Enabling the diver to react quickly to changing conditions and providing sufficient lift capacity are the necessary elements of a safe jacket.

-Thanks to the new AirFlex Technology System and its high capacity bladder, T-Black provides the highest buoyancy lift of any of our T-line BCs.

With its bungee enclosures, AirFlex offers extra stability and allows for quick deflation.

All jackets need a minimum internal volume to allow sufficient air to be injected inside to reach neutral buoyancy and, when needed, to create lift for the ascent and flotation on the surface.
European Union norms require a minimum lift capacity in relation to the size of the tank used, measured in kilograms.
The right lift is a comfort and a safety issue because a jacket also needs to be streamlined to reduce drag in order to save energy when swimming.

-T-Black Lift capacity by size : XS:14kg, S:18kg, M:22kg, L:23.5kg, XL: 27kg.

-U.S. patented quick-release integrated weight system offers more comfort and convenience.

Pouches accommodate up to 5kgb each, which is usually sufficient weight for a recreational diver using a wetsuit.

They are secured in specially-designed pockets with oversized buckles that prevent weight pouches from falling out during the dive.
Weight integrated pockets help to avoid sore hips and backache, usually caused by weight belts and are easy to handle even with thick gloves.

-Two expandable rear trim pockets counterbalance front weights and provide a well-balanced swimming position.

Rear trim pockets are located on both sides of the tank and hold 1,5kg of non-releasable weights each.

Together with the front weight they optimize diver-s trim and adjust to various equipment requirements and diving conditions.

-3-dump deflation system enables divers to dump air from a variety of underwater positions.

Because divers are not always in an upright position when they need to vent air, SCUBAPRO jackets feature several dump valves at different positions: on the right shoulder, equipped with an easy to find lanyard handle on the left shoulder, integrated in the corrugated hose in the rear, at waist level, for a diver in head down position.

-Steel super-cinch tank band for easy adjustment and a secure grip on the tank.

No other system offers the strength security and reliability of SCUBAPRO-s proprietary stainless steel cam action buckle system.
Engineered to allow both an easy adjustment and a secure grip on the tank.

-Available with Balanced Power Inflator (BPI) or optional AIR2.

The compact SCUBAPRO BPI inflates and deflates at the touch of a button, featuring special soft touch, ergonomically shaped buttons for a good grip and easy one hand operation with gloves. A BPI is included on every SCUBAPRO jacket.

The single-hosed AIR2 is an integrated balanced power inflator and an alternate air source.

Great for travel, it eliminates the need for an additional hose.

DURABILITY:

A robust jacket is highly resistant to punctures and abrasion, and carries heavy load tanks without compromising longevity and comfort. SCUBAPRO achieves this by using the best materials, reinforcements and seam constructions.

-Robust aircell made of heavy duty Cordura 1000 lightweight Nylon 420 interior.

-Cordura Color-Lock creates essential protection against repeated sun and water exposure.

-Pockets and harness are made out of Cordura 500 and Polyester 1200 material with carbon reinforcement.

-High quality seam construction. SCUBAPRO was the first manufacturer to use a high tech method of welding to achieve a flawless seal on all jackets made from polyurethane backed nylon.

The use of high power radio waves allows polyurethane material to bond without heat, resulting in a very strong and long-lasting seam.

-Heavy duty shoulder strap buckles.

COMFORT & CONVENIENCE:

A comfortable jacket shifts the heavy tank load evenly to the divers- hip area, away from chest and shoulders and offers soft interior padding. It conforms securely to the diver-s body to minimize drag and provide a nonrestrictive fit around the shoulders and waist.

-T-comfort backpack, broad enough for all diver sizes, includes thick design padding offering maximum comfort.

-Hydro-dynamic cut and hi-grip foam padding for cummerbund and shoulder interior ensure perfect fit and comfort.

-Flexible and expandable pockets for accessory storage do not compromise the streamlined shape.

-Additional external compartment on the right pocket for carrying a safety buoy.

-Seven stainless steel D-rings, 5 large and 2 small, for all your accessories.

-T-Black is available in five sizes: XS to XL.

-For maximum tank capacities see the Compare option for specific SCUBAPRO BCs.
