Scubapro Mk25 S600. MK25 S600 REGULATOR SYSTEM

Our top performing balanced piston first stage paired with our high performance air balanced second stage this combination is SCUBAPRO-s ultimate regulator combination. The S600 truly matches the MK25-s characteristics and thanks to its adjustment possibilities, it adapts to all diving conditions and all diver preferences. Ease of breathing is the essence of this system.

-The MK25 first stage is our absolute top performer and is a superior regulator thanks to its ultra stable intermediate pressure resulting in an extremely punctual and constantly high delivery of air. The means instant air flow at any cylinder pressure and water temperature for a real carefree dive.

-Married with the air balanced high performance S600 second stage, this system is our top performer.

-Balanced flow valve provides constant & effortless air flow.

-Diver adjustable inhalation control enables personal adjustment of breathing effort.

-Diver adjustable Venturi Initiated Vacuum Assist (VIVA) dive/pre-dive control switch and extra high flow exhaust valve account for easy inhale & exhale.

-Super-flow hose for smooth air delivery.

-Precision moulded, lightweight components and anti-freeze materials provide high corrosion resistance and enhance cold water performance.

MK25 FIRST STAGE

THE PISTON TECHNOLOGY. The general advantage of a piston first stage lies in its reliability and reduced maintenance requirements, due to an effective but simpler mechanism with less moving parts. More importantly, no other design can reach the high air delivery rate of a balanced piston controlled first stage.

-Air balanced flow-through piston- First stages with air balanced pistons deliver significantly more air to the second stage than any other first stage, while their performance is totally unaffected by the changing tank pressure. A balanced piston allows the use of lighter and more sensitive components, resulting in ultra fast breathing response, instant delivery of air on demand, and extra high air flow, especially in low tank pressure ranges. The tired diver benefits from a smoother breathing regulator during the ascent or deco stop. Balanced piston first stages are the first choice of demanding sport divers and professionals. A balanced piston performs equally in warm and cold water environments.

-Two opposite high pressure ports- The arrangement of high and low pressure hoses is crucial to diving comfort. Two opposite high pressure ports allow for an individual positioning of the first stage (pointing up or down). This allows the diver to position the gauges either on the right or left side and increases the freedom of movement for head and neck.

-Multiple low pressure ports- For ultimate freedom in the arrangement of low pressure hoses, the MK25 accommodates five HF (high flow) ports on a swiveling turret, which allows for 360 degree swivel of hoses. High flow ports deliver about 15% more air than conventional ports.

-DIN/INT first stage configurations- To ensure worldwide compatibility, all SCUBAPRO regulator systems are available in a 232bar INT version as well as 300bar DIN versions.

-Externally adjustable intermediate pressure- Allows authorized SCUBAPRO service technicians to quickly fine tune or make adjustments after maintenance without the need to disassemble the first stage.

-Chrome plated brass body- machined marine grade, for excellent resistance to corrosion and long lasting robustness.

- Cold Water Diving With SCUBAPRO- Diving conditions can be drastically different, including extreme cold water and ambient air temperatures, posing the possibility of a regulator "freezing". Therefore, resistance to freezing is imperative for the diver. All SCUBAPRO regulator systems are CE approved for 300bar cold water diving. Some models go even beyond this super stringent qualification and have successfully been tested in extreme cold diving conditions at less than 2°C. As a specific anti-freezing measure, SCUBAPRO engineers have designed special anti-freeze components and features for the MK25 first stages for optimal cold water diving. The ribs act as a radiator to increase the surface area of heat transfer from the water to warm up the internal parts that have been drastically cooled down by the gas pressure drop. For cold water diving, SCUBAPRO-s second stages feature precision molded carbon fiber and technopolymer valve housing and components. They even exceed the CE cold water norm. In addition, these components contribute to their lightweight features and corrosion resistance.

S600
S600 SECOND STAGE

A second stage regulator must translate natural breathing behaviour into mechanical reality. A high quality second stage can significantly reduce stress and enhance diver safety by providing smooth, low-effort breathing response, resulting in ample yet controllable quantities of air.

The designation balanced and classic downstream are also distinguishing marks for second stages and again imply ultimate flow performance and stability in addition to reliability, simplicity and solid performance.

-The air-balanced valve technology of SCUBAPRO-s S600 second stage features a balancing chamber in the second stage mechanism, slightly offsetting the force of the downstream air entering from the first stage. This allows reduced spring tension and decreases the inhalation resistance to the lowest possible level. The result is super smooth breathing in all conditions. The air-balanced valve technology is featured in the X and S-Series second stages. For best results they should be combined with balanced first stages, like the MK25, MK19 or MK17.

-Precision moulded carbon fiber & technopolymer housing: low friction, light weight, corrosion and cold water resistant for long life & sturdiness.

-Diver adjustable inhalation effort. This feature enables the diver to adjust breathing effort via an oversized control knob it is available on the X650, S600, and G250V second stages. All other second stages feature a pre-set inhalation effort that suits the most common diving conditions and can be fine tuned at an Authorized SCUBAPRO Dealer on request.

-Venturi Initiated Vacuum Assist (VIVA). Another SCUBAPRO patented feature, the VIVA is available on all SCUBAPRO second stages. VIVA uses the power of a vacuum assist to reduce work of breathing and increase breathing comfort. It is diver adjustable on all current SCUBAPRO second stages except the R295, since it is a second stage intentionally designed for diver training courses, rental facilities, and divers demanding ready to use equipment. A VIVA in MAX position gives powerful breathing support on every single breath a VIVA in MIN position helps to prevent free flow on the surface, for training, for buddy breathing, in currents, or when used as an octopus.

-Orthodontic mouthpiece. SCUBAPRO uses a comfortable orthodontic mouthpiece on every second stage to reduce jaw fatigue and gum irritation. It was developed by dentists and dental laboratories and lasts longer than any other mouthpiece, because only a minimum effort is needed to hold it comfortably in place.

-Sturdy high flow hose with Kevlar lining for extra durability and flawless air delivery.

-Super high-flow exhaust valve provides the lowest exhalation effort and better breathing comfort.

MK17 FIRST STAGE

A high performance balanced diaphragm first stage regulator, the MK17 has been engineered for harsh environments and for use in ice cold water or polluted environments. Resistance to cold has indeed been a key element in the engineering of the MK17.

The Diaphragm Technology. Diaphragm-based first stages are environmentally sealed so that water cannot enter the inner mechanism. Bearing in mind that regulators generate temperatures up to minus 30°C due to the incredibly fast moving air and the pressure drop involved, it is imperative that sensitive moving metal parts avoid contact with extremely cold water.

Therefore, diaphragm first stages have been the favoured choice of cold-water divers and those working in contaminated or muddy water.
SCUBAPRO diaphragm first stages feature balanced technology and are packed with patented features resulting in ultra fast flow to the second stage on demand and a fantastic overall performance.

-Dry ambient pressure chamber, providing better performance in cold water than any other diaphragm regulator. The diaphragm design prevents the entry of water into the first stage mechanism and enhances a trouble-free operation, even in the coldest conditions.

-Patented finned cap with ribs increase surface area to maximise heat transfer from the water to warm the cold internal components.

-The balanced technology provides consistent performance at all cylinder pressures, at any depth and optimises the second stage performance, thus allowing for effortless breathing.

-Multiple low pressure ports- For ultimate freedom in the arrangement of low pressure hoses, the MK17 features four stationary low pressure ports, two of them HF. High flow ports deliver about 15% more air than conventional ports.

-DIN/INT first stage configurations- To ensure worldwide compatibility, all SCUBAPRO regulator systems are available in a 200bar INT version as well as 300bar DIN versions.

-Externally adjustable intermediate pressure- Allows authorised SCUBAPRO service technicians to quickly fine tune or make adjustments after maintenance without the need to disassemble the first stage.

Scubapro Mk11 R295. MK11 and the R-SERIES Simple Passion. These systems are all about ease of use and reliability. A balanced diaphragm first stage combined with classic downstream valve second stages in a lightweight package makes it the perfect recreational combination. Compact, light and easy to carry, follows your diving passion anywhere.MK11 R295 REGULATOR SYSTEM•This is the perfect choice for the recreational or new diver who wants the advantage of a diaphragm first stage for use in temperate waters. As with MK17, the diaphragm system prevents entry of water and pollutants whilst its balanced technology allows prompt delivery of air at all cylinder pressures. •Compact and lightweight, MK11 is the ideal travel companion. •R295 second stage features fixed VIVA for true carefree diving.MK11 FIRST STAGEA balanced diaphragm first stage regulator, the MK11 is similar to the MK17 but without the dry ambient chamber. The perfect choice for the recreational diver who wants the advantage of a diaphragm fisrt stage for use in temperate waters. The Diaphragm Technology. Diaphragm-based first stages are environmentally sealed so that water cannot enter the inner mechanism. Bearing in mind that regulators generate temperatures as low as minus 30°C due to the incredibly fast moving air and the pressure drop involved, it is imperative that sensitive moving metal parts avoid contact with extremely cold water or debris. Therefore, diaphragm first stages have been the favored choice of cold-water divers and those working in contaminated or muddy water. SCUBAPRO diaphragm first stages feature balanced technology and are packed with patented features resulting in ultra fast flow to the second stage on demand and a fantastic overall performance.•The balanced diaphragm technology provides consistent performance at all cylinder pressures, at any depth and optimises the second stage performance, thus allowing for effortless breathing. •Two opposite high pressure ports- The arrangement of high and low pressure hoses is crucial to diving comfort. Two opposite high pressure ports allow for an individual positioning of the first stage (pointing up or down). This allows the diver to position the gauges either on the right or left side and increases the freedom of movement for head and neck. •Multiple low pressure ports- For ultimate freedom in the arrangement of low pressure hoses, the MK11 features four stationary low pressure ports, two of them HF. High flow ports deliver about 15% more air than conventional ports. •DIN/INT first stage configurations- To ensure worldwide compatibility, all SCUBAPRO regulator systems are available in a 200bar INT version as well as 300bar DIN versions. •Externally adjustable intermediate pressure- Allows authorised SCUBAPRO service technicians to quickly fine tune or make adjustments after maintenance without the need to disassemble the first stage. R295R295 SECOND STAGE REGULATOR•Classic downstream valve. Classic downstream valves are particularly noted for their legendary safety and reliability. When in use, the downstream valve opens in the same direction as the incoming air flow. To close the valve and stop the air flow, a spring counteracts the force of the incoming air. Therefore, a certain inhalation effort is always required to overcome the spring tension and open the valve. •Fixed VIVA (Venturi Initiated Vacuum Assist) flow vane. Fixed in the pre-tuned ideal position for safe and uncomplicated use. •Extremely lightweight and compact. Comfortable for all divers, including novice divers newly initiated in the sport. • Orthodontic mouthpiece.
